Lisa Featherby

Lisa has been making food look good since she started as a chef in 1994. For ten years she worked in restaurant and commercial kitchens alongside Australian culinary legends like Janni Kyrtisis at MG Garage and Peter Doyle at Cicada, discovering everything there is to know about what makes a dish sing, from the integrity of ingredients through to beauty of presentation.


Previously, Lisa was the food director for Australian Gourmet Traveller magazine, during this time she also worked across many premium titles at Bauer Media which includes Gourmet Traveller, House & Garden and Real Living. This role enabled her to explore many parts of the Australian food scene, from restaurants and providores to farmers and producers. Not only does she create recipes, style photoshoots and write food features but she uses these outlets to promote sustainable and ethical approaches to food that’s in sync with her personal philosophy.


Lisa currently collaborates with a variety of food brands and restaurants to create beautiful content for their social, online and print channels, and has also started her own publication, titled 'Eatable'.
